Abstract

We report studies of the precession signatures of Mu \{BC\} + in Si from 200 K to room temperature under optical excitation. The illumination results in an enhanced relaxation of the signal. In the temperature range from 200 to 260 K, the relaxation is primarily due to the Mu \{BC\} + ↔ Mu \{BC\} 0 process. Above 260 K, the Mu \{BC\} + ↔ Mu T 0 dynamics are responsible for the observed relaxation. This charge cycling model also describes the longitudinal relaxation rates.
