Congratulations to Dr. Mark MacLachlan of the UBC Chemistry Department who has been awarded the 2013 Rutherford Medal in Chemistry by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC)
This award highlights outstanding research in any branch of chemistry in recognition of Lord Rutherford’s own research carried out in Canada at a relatively young age. More information about the Rutherford Medal can be found here. Past recipients of the Medal can be found here.
The medal will be presented to Dr. MacLachlan at the RSC Meeting on November 16th at the Fairmont Banff Springs Resort.
