Congratulations to Associate Professor of Teaching, Dr. Anka Lekhi, who is one of the three recipients of the British Columbia Teaching and Learning Council (BCTLC) 2025 West Coast Teaching Excellence Awards!
Dr. Lekhi is recognized for her focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion, and her innovative approaches to student learning. She has created tremendous learning opportunities for students, and has played a leading role in a major UBC initiative to enhance higher education opportunities in science for international students who are English language learners.
