2025 SUMMER SESSIONAL LECTURER POSITION
The Department of Chemistry at the University of British Columbia invites applications for a sessional lecturer for a Summer term 1 2025 lecture course (Summer term 1 May-June). The salary for this position depends on qualifications and experience. Individuals with a Ph.D. degree in chemistry and successful teaching experience are preferred. Familiarity with computer interfaces and online teaching systems (UBC Canvas) is an asset. The expected pay range for this position is $4779.56/month - $6250/month
CHEM 121 (1 section) – Structure and Bonding in Chemistry: Fundamentals of bonding theories and structural chemistry, with applications relevant to modern society.
Successful candidates will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work within a team environment.
